Gotta say, I watched this video like 5 times. I really enjoyed it.
Man, I loooove the cinematography on this so much.
The young man with me in this picture is a large and very important part of why “Al Eid Shofa” worked. Ahmed El-Nimeri — or “Number One”, as I like to call him. A creative young man in the full sense of the word. He shot the song and he cut it. Which is why you need to know who he is.
I honestly know nothing about photography. But the sunlight, the mood of the frame, the rhythm of the building and the columns along the pavement, and the angle of the camera — genuinely beautiful.
I have seen a lot of videos from the sit-in, but this level of professionalism makes me speechless.
A warm, funny, clever man. May he always succeed, and may we see his work fill the field.
